Nawgati surpasses 3.5 million users

India’s fuel-tech and mobility
infrastructure platform Nawgati has crossed 3.5 million users, easing fuel
station congestion for drivers across the country. Fuel station queues remain a
daily reality across India, where drivers can spend close to an hour waiting
during peak hours. For commercial drivers who depend on time on the road for
their income, this translates directly into lost earnings.
The problem is
compounded by a lack of real-time visibility; drivers often have no way of
knowing which stations are congested, running low on fuel, or best avoided
until they arrive. Nawgati was built to close this information gap, using data
and technology to make fuel retail more predictable for the people who rely on
it most.
The Nawgati Fuelling App gives
users live visibility into station-level queues, fuel availability, and
pricing, information that has historically been scattered or unavailable at the
point of need. The app was Nawgati's original product, born out of founder and
CEO Vaibhav Kaushik's own observation of CNG cab drivers losing up to an hour a
day, nearly 10 percent of their working time, waiting in fuel lines.
Speaking on this, Vaibhav
Kaushik, Co-founder and CEO, Nawgati, noted, "This number means more to me
than a userbase count. Nawgati started because I watched cab drivers lose
nearly an hour a day standing in line, time that came straight out of their
earning hours. 3.5 million users of
Nawgati tell us that problem was never unique to a handful of drivers I spoke
to in Noida; it's a daily reality for millions across India. Every driver who
opens this app before heading to a station is choosing to trust us with a
decision that affects their livelihood. That trust is what we're building on as
we take this model beyond India."
Since its founding in 2019 by
Vaibhav Kaushik, Aalaap Nair, and Aryan Sisodia, Nawgati has grown from a
consumer information layer into a full-stack fuel retail data company, working
to reduce congestion and improve fuel availability for drivers across India.
